Report on Earthquake Mock Drill
On 26th December 2024, an earthquake Mock drill
was conducted in our Vidyalaya by NDRF team. The team assessed the preparedness
of students and staff members in responding to medical emergencies, including
the use of stretchers and CPR. The students and teachers were trained to be
alert, quick and responsible, maintain calm and avoid panic to avert stampede
and casualties. As per the order, the hooter rang at 11:15 am and the students
quickly moved out covering their heads. The evacuation team evacuated the
students from the school building within 5 minutes. The head count was done by
the class teacher to ensure the presence of students. All the students and
teachers actively participated in the drill.
