Report on Ganesh Chaturti

On Wednesday, 31st August 2022, we celebrated Ganesh Chaturti  in the school premises at around 9.00 am. The program began with lighting the lamp then by Arthi and Bhajans by our teachers and the students.

Altogether 108 students and all the teaching and non-teaching staff were present.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of Rakhi Making and Ganesh Idol Making Competition held recently in connection with Raksha Bandhan and Ganesh Chaturti respectively. The program ended at 10.00 am with the distribution of Prasad.

On 11 August 2022, We celebrated Rakshabandhan.

Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters symbolised by the tying of sacred thread, “Rakhi” around the wrist of brothers.

In this connection, we conducted Rakhi making competition to explore the creativity of our students and we ended up with colourful and beautifully designed hand made Rakhis.

One day Drama Workshop with Shri. Ramesh ji, Vijayawada

A Drama Workshop

On the ”Ocassion of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”, Vidyalaya has organised a Day Drama Workshop by Swatantra Bharathi Shri. Ramesh ji, of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

This Cultural Program “Swatantra Bharathi” has been composed to promote the Patriotism amongst the Students.

This was the Piece presented by the Students, for the Students, to the Students.

The theme was the 5000 Years of Indian History.

The Ballet Consisted of:

  •      Divide and Rule Policy, gaining the Power,
  •      The First War of Independence,

  •      Public Movement, Freedom and Tributary Anthem to Bharath matha.

It was well imbibed and appreciated by students and panchayat members of our Port Mout village.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

 

The Field Outreach Bureau, Port Blair, a Publicity Wing under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Ministry organised an awareness campaign on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in JNV, Port Blair.

 

As the part of this programme, in the Interschool Essay Writing Competition, our students Kumari. Farheen Ashraf & Kumari. Hasheera Hanif have bagged First and second positions respectively.

 

Moreover our team of two students Kumari. Farheen Ashraf and Kumari. Mohima Sarkar have bagged third place in the Interschool Quiz Competition.

Mananeeya Hanumantha Rao Ji visit to VKZPV Port Mout

 

Report on Visit of Adarniya  Hanumantha Rao Ji, All India Vice President of  Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari  



On Friday, the 7th January 2022, at 9:30 am, Mananeeya Hanumantha Rao Ji, All India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari and other dignitaries were received with warm welcome by our Principal Shri. S. Rajkumar, Staff and Students. The visit was accompanied by Susri. Varsha Didi, Secretary, VKVs, Andamans, Susri. Priyamvada Didi, Sampark Sthan Sangathak of Port Blair and guest of the Shri. Satyendra Sharma Ji, Vyavastha Pramukh Bihar and Jharkhand Pranth. After the arrival, all the dignitaries reached Swami Vivekananda statue and paid floral tribute at the feet of Swamiji.

                                                        

Then, the Vice President met the members of Parents Teachers Executive Committee / SMC Members. Later, all have proceeded to the Pandal, where the Manthan programme was arranged with the parents of classes VI – IX.  



At 10.15 am, with the introductory note about each dignitaries, our Principal, Shri. S. Rajkumar welcomed the gathering and which was followed by a Geet by our students of IX and X. 



Susri. Priyamvada Didi has given the Kendra Parichay followed by another Geet which was presented by our senior students. 


Then Mananeeya Hanumantha Rao Ji enlightened with his words about Bharatiya Sanskriti “Successful Life and Purposeful Life”, Importance of family. Meeting was enthusiastically attended by 162 parents and PT Ex.Com members.

The programme was compered by Smti. B. Latha and Smti. Kirti Tiwari and vote of thanks was proposed by Smti. Princy K.R.


The programme was concluded at 12.15 pm with National Anthem.
