Report on Ganesh Chaturti

On Wednesday, 31st August 2022, we celebrated Ganesh Chaturti  in the school premises at around 9.00 am. The program began with lighting the lamp then by Arthi and Bhajans by our teachers and the students.

Altogether 108 students and all the teaching and non-teaching staff were present.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of Rakhi Making and Ganesh Idol Making Competition held recently in connection with Raksha Bandhan and Ganesh Chaturti respectively. The program ended at 10.00 am with the distribution of Prasad.

On 11 August 2022, We celebrated Rakshabandhan.

Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters symbolised by the tying of sacred thread, “Rakhi” around the wrist of brothers.

In this connection, we conducted Rakhi making competition to explore the creativity of our students and we ended up with colourful and beautifully designed hand made Rakhis.

As a part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav we had “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign in a befitting way along with parents and public. We conducted Flag making and Slogan writing competitions and performed Prabhat Phery and a group display of  Mera Bharat Mahaan.”
