Kendra Vargha in Our Vidyalaya

 




 

Report on Kendra Vargha

On 27th December 2024, our Vidyalaya conducted Kendra Vargha at Tushnabad Community Hall. The Program was started by lighting the traditional lamp followed by three Omkaras. The event began with Shanti Path followed by Agyaa  Abhiyaas like Nischlo Bhava,  Sustitho Bhava, Swastho Bhava. Yoga abhiyaas like Ardhakari Chakrasana, Parivartan Asan, Hasta Uttanasana were performed for the wellness of mind and body. Games like Leader Change and Namaste were conducted followed by a Geet. A Charcha on the topic ‘ The influence of mobile phone on student’s life was also held. All the students actively participated in the event. The whole program was anchored by Ridhaan Pradhan and Bhavya Das of class VII. The program concluded with shanti mantra and Kendra prathana.

Report on Veer Bal Diwas

On 26th December 2024, Veer Bal Diwas was celebrated in our Vidyalaya. This day honour the remarkable bravery of two young Sikh warriors who refused to renounce their faith despite extreme pressure and chose martyrdom over conversion. Smti.Pramila Kumari, Zilla Parishad member Chouldari Constituency was the Chief Guest for this Program. The Principal Smti. Sabita Devi Addressed the gathering. One of our teachers highlighted the significance of the day. A speech competition was held for classes IX to XII and prizes were given to the winners on the same day. The chief Guest motivated the students by her inspiring words of wisdom.

The program was anchored by Smti. A. Pooja and at last one of our teachers Smti. Deviya Shosan Dhanwar proposed the vote of thanks.




 

Report on Earthquake Mock Drill

On 26th December 2024, an earthquake Mock drill was conducted in our Vidyalaya by NDRF team. The team assessed the preparedness of students and staff members in responding to medical emergencies, including the use of stretchers and CPR. The students and teachers were trained to be alert, quick and responsible, maintain calm and avoid panic to avert stampede and casualties. As per the order, the hooter rang at 11:15 am and the students quickly moved out covering their heads. The evacuation team evacuated the students from the school building within 5 minutes. The head count was done by the class teacher to ensure the presence of students. All the students and teachers actively participated in the drill.

 Report on Gita Jayanti

              On 11th December 2024, Gita Jayanti was celebrated in our Vidyalaya. Gita Jayanti is an auspicious Hindu Celebration commemorating the initiation of Srimad Bhagvad Gita which translates as the supreme Lord’s song.

              On this special day Swami Bhramanandji was the Chief Guest. The program began with lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest followed by Ekya Mantra by the students. Smti. Sabita Devi, Principal gave the welcome address. Ansh Kumar of Class 7th delivered a speech on significance of Gita Jayanti. Swami Bhramanandji enlightened us with his kind words.

              On the account of Gita Jayanti, Essay Writing Competition and Gita Chanting were held in our Vidyalaya in which students from various schools participated and bagged the prizes.

              The Chief Guest felicitated the prize winners and whole program was anchored by one of our teachers Miss. R Simran.

              The vote of thanks was proposed by one of our teacher Shri. N Nitish Raj.






 Report on Bagless Day

    On 7th December 2024, Bagless Day was conducted in our Vidyalaya in which class-wise (Pre KG-V) activities like Games, Gita Chanting, Art/Craft and Tree Plantation was organised.

    Student whole heartedly participated and learned something new.

Report on Annual Sports Day

On 30th November 2024 at around 08:30 am our school organised Annual Sports Day in the School premises with great enthusiasm. Sports are an important part of one’s life. Taking part in sports keep a person fit in every sense. For students, it is more important as it help us release stress, stay healthy and focused.

On this special day, Smti. M. Rajini, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman was the chief guest and Smti. Pramila Kumari, Zilla Parishad Member, Chouldhari Constituency was the Guest of Honour. The program started with a prayer followed by carrying a torch by the School Captain and House Captain. The program was anchored by Payal Kirtania of Class X. Announcement was done by Smti. Kirti Tiwari and Smti. B. Latha.

Smti. Sabita Devi, Principal, VKZPV, Port Mout, gave an introductory speech. The Chief Guest hoisted the flag and declared the meet open by 09.00 am. The oath taking ceremony was held by the school head boy. The students displayed sports event like March Past, Mass Drill, Lezim, Clap Drill, Bamboo Drill, Aerobics, Bhala Drill, Dumbbells etc. They mesmerised the audience with their energetic performance.

There was an event for the Students, Staff and Parents. The Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and other special Guest felicitated the prize winners. Mid-day meal was provided for the students. Smti. Sabita Devi, Principal brought the flag down and declared the meet closed. And flag was handed over to the PT Teacher for safe custody.

The vote of thanks was proposed by one of our teacher Smti. Deviya Shosan Dhanwar.

 Report on ASTHRA 2024 and Sadhana Diwas

On 19th November 2024, our school organised ASTHRA 2024 and Sadhana Diwas. The exhibition witnessed great enthusiasm and blooming participation from children of various classes, who had the unique opportunity of exploring as well as expressing their scientific idea in the form of models and project.

The program began with lighting the traditional lamp by the Chief Gust, Dr. Y. Ramakrishna, Principal Scientist and Head (Agronomy) ICAR and other guests followed by Ekya Mantra. Then the welcome address was given by the Principal, Smti. Sabita Devi. The Chief Guest was welcomed with the bouquet.

A speech was delivered by one of our student Ekta Mridha of Class VII followed by a song.

Altogether 31 teachers and 798    Students were present. ASTHRA 2024 was a great learning experience for both the students and teachers alike wherein it seemed that the world of science practically came alive, through the blooming project of our young student innovators.
