Report on Gandhi Jayanti
On 2nd October 2024, Gandhi Jayanti was
celebrated in our Vidyalaya. The program began with lighting the lamp by the
Principal, Smti. Sabita Devi followed by
Ekya mantra by the students. A speech was delivered by one of our teacher Manabi Roy highlighting the importance of this
day, followed by a bhajan N.k. Shama Sajid of class XI delivered a speech on
the life history and achievements of both Mahatma Gandhi ji and Lal Bahadur
Shastri ji . All the teachers and the students paid floral tribute to the
portrait of Gandhiji and Shastri ji.
The whole program was anchored by Prateek Pershad of class
XI. Around 270 students and 31 teachers were present. After the conclusion of
program the school conducted a cleanliness drive to create cleaner and
healthier environment.
