Excursion Tour
On
31st January 2025, an Excursion tour was organized for students of classes
X and XII. Excursion provided students with opportunities to learn outside the
classroom, engaging with real-word environments and experiences that complement
theoretical knowledge. This hands-on learning approach often leads to deeper
understandings and retention of information.
The
students gathered in the school campus at around 8:00 am and began their
journey. Firstly they were taken to the Cellular Jail, which is famous for
being a prison that housed many freedom fighters during India’s struggle for Independence from British rule. The next place they visited is the Science
Centre, it is a place where students can learn about various scientific
concepts through interactive exhibits, hands-on experiments, and
demonstrations, covering topics like physics, chemistry, biology, earth science
and technology.
This
Excursion provided an opportunity for students to connect with nature,
appreciate the outdoors and unwind from the usual classroom setting. It was a
day filled with laughter, bonding and a break from the academic routine, leaving
students refreshed and rejuvenated. Around 85 students and 6 teachers attended
this Excursion tour. Lunch was provided to all the students in the school
campus.
