Pariksha Pe Charcha

On 10^th February 2025, a live telecast on Pariksha pe Charcha was held for classes IX and XI in our Vidyalaya . Examinations are often a source of stress for students and their families, but the “Pariksha Pe Charcha” (PPC) initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been transforming this narrative. Scheduled for 11 am on February 10 2025, this year’s PPC will once again serve as on interactive platform where the Prime Minister directly engages with students and teachers. The session was helpful for students to tackle anxiety, exam fear and how to keep a calm mind during examination. Altogether 54 students and 3 teachers were present.

 

Report on Saraswati Pooja

On 3^rd February 2025, we celebrated Saraswati Pooja in the school premises. Saraswati pooja is also Known as Vasant Panchami, is a Hindu festival that honors the goddess of wisdom, Knowledge, music and arts. It is a day to seek blessings for success in academic, arts, and intellectual pursuits. The pooja started at 9:30 am by offering prayers to the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. The Aarti took place and the students offered flowers to the Goddess seeking her blessings. The celebration ended with Distribution of Prasad to the teachers, students and parents followed by Annadanam.

 

 

Report on Matru Pooja

On 4^th February 2025,our school organized Matru Pooja for the students of classes X and XII. At first the Principal of the School Smti. Sabita Devi extended her welcome Speech. The pooja was concluded by offering flowers and Chanting shlokas. As a part of the celebration the students washed their mothers feet and applied chandan and kumkum. The students worshiped their mother and took their blessings. The students and mothers fed sweets to each other.

On the other hand pooja was performed by Shri. Shiv Kumar  Diwedi, teacher of VKV Sri Vijaya Puram. He said the importance of mother in everybody’s life. The students and parents shared their experience. The function  concluded with Shanti mantra.

 

Report on Excursion Tour

On 31^st January 2025, an Excursion tour was organized for students of classes X and XII. Excursion provided students with opportunities to learn outside the classroom, engaging with real-word environments and experiences that complement theoretical knowledge. This hands-on learning approach often leads to deeper understandings and retention of information.

The students gathered in the school campus at around 8:00 am and began their journey. Firstly they were taken to the Cellular Jail, which is famous for being a prison that housed many freedom fighters during India’s struggle for Independence from British rule. The next place they visited is the Science Centre, it is a place where students can learn about various scientific concepts through interactive exhibits, hands-on experiments, and demonstrations, covering topics like physics, chemistry, biology, earth science and technology.

This Excursion provided an opportunity for students to connect with nature, appreciate the outdoors and unwind from the usual classroom setting. It was a day filled with laughter, bonding and a break from the academic routine, leaving students refreshed and rejuvenated. Around 85 students and 6 teachers attended this Excursion tour. Lunch was provided to all the students in the school campus.  

 Report on Republic Day

On 26^th January 2025, we celebrated Republic Day in our Vidhyalaya with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Shri. P A Sharfuddin, Upadhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman was the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest was greeted by the School Principal Smti. Sabita Devi. The program started with unfurling of the Tri Colour flag by the Chief Guest P A Sharfuddin. It was followed by the National Anthem. Speech was delivered by one of our teacher Miss. Ravina Kerketta, highlighting the importance of this day, followed by a patriotic song and dance.

The Chief Guest motivated the students with his inspirational word. He felicitated all the non teaching staff of our Vidhyalaya for an outstanding job maintaining such a consistency, clean and organised campus. Lastly the program concluded with vote of thanks by one of our teachers Smti. B. Latha.
