on Ganesh Chathurthi
On 6th September 2024, Ganesh
Chathurti was celebrated in our
Vidyalaya. Ganesh Chathurti is a festival rich in cultural, religion and social
significance. It celebrates not only the birth of lord Ganesha but also the
values he embodies. He is revered as the remour of obstacles and the good of
beginnings, wisdom and prosperity. The programme began with lighting the lamp by
the Principal Smti. Sabita Devi followed by Ekya mantra by the students. A
Speech was delivered by one of our teachers Debashish Podder highlighting the
importances of this festival, followed by bhajan. The whole programme was
anchored by Nethra of class XII. Around 730 students and 31 teachers were
present.
