 Teacher's Day Celebration at VKZPV Port Mout

On 5th September 2025, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Port Mout, celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, widely recognized as Teachers' Day across the nation.

The day is observed to honor the remarkable contributions of teachers in shaping the minds and futures of students.

The celebration began with a vibrant morning assembly, during which the students of Classes XIth and XIIth took on the roles of teachers, managing classes and engaging with students throughout the day. This unique gesture gave them an opportunity to experience the responsibilities and challenges of teaching.

The HOI of the school along with the teaching staff and students paid a floral tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan, commemorating his legacy as a great teacher and philosopher.

A heartfelt speech was delivered by Izma Islam, a student of Class VIIth , who eloquently highlighted the significance of the day and expressed gratitude on behalf of all students.

To further express their appreciation, the students organized a small get-together that included games, entertainment, and a felicitation session to honor and thank the teachers for their dedication and hard work.

The entire day was filled with love, respect, and heartfelt emotions as students came together to celebrate and acknowledge the invaluable role teachers play in their lives. The event was a true reflection of the deep bond shared between students and teachers, making the celebration both memorable and meaningful.

A total no.of 605 students, 33 teaching & 4 non- teaching staffs were a part of the celebration.










Bhajan Sandhya at Siya Rama Temple, Port Mout 

On the auspicious evening of 30th August, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Port Mout, organised a Bhajan Sandhya at the Siya Rama Temple, Port Mout Basti.

The evening began with the chanting of Shanti Paat followed by Ekya Mantra, which set a calm and sacred tone. A melodious bhajan dedicated to Lord Ganesha, sung by a student, marked the beginning of the musical offerings. This was followed by soul-stirring bhajans in praise of Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, Devi, and a heartfelt recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, each performed with deep devotion and enthusiasm.

The event radiated an atmosphere of serenity and devotion, bringing together students, parents, teachers, and community members in a shared spirit of faith and harmony.

A special highlight of the evening was the wholehearted participation of students, whose devotional singing created a spiritually uplifting environment and left a lasting impression on everyone present.

The programme saw the active involvement of 6 teachers, 3 non-teaching staff, 15 parents, and 32 children, making the event vibrant and memorable. The Bhajan Sandhya concluded with the Sandhya Aarti and distribution of Prasad, leaving all participants with a sense of peace, joy, and divine bliss.

The program concluded by Smti. Nisha Yadav Madam, expressing gratitude to all contributors and participants.

The Bhajan Sandhya proved to be a spiritually enriching experience that not only strengthened the bond between children, parents, and teachers but also celebrated unity in devotion.



Nukkad Natak (Awareness Program on Amrut Parivaar) at Chouldari Community Hall

On the 30th of August, 2025, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Port Mout, took a proactive step towards community awareness by launching the "Amrut Parivaar" initiative. This initiative aimed to spread awareness about its importance and impact on society. The event was designed to engage the local community and make them understand the core message of "Amrut Parivaar" through an interactive and creative approach.

The primary objective of the campaign was to educate the nearby localities about the significance of "Amrut Parivaar," a concept designed to promote positive changes in the community through collective efforts and sustainability. The goal was to create a sense of responsibility and action among the local public regarding their environment, health, and social responsibilities.

To ensure maximum engagement with the local populace, Altogether 6 teachers and 15 students of Class IX and XI of the Vidyalaya took part in a Nukkad Natak (street play) held in the bustling market area of Chouldari. The Nukkad Natak was chosen as the medium of communication to effectively reach a wide range of people, including those who may not be familiar with the subject of "Amrut Parivaar."

The performance was aimed at not only explaining the concept but also highlighting its relevance in the current social and environmental context. The play creatively depicted the values and practices associated with the initiative, illustrating how individuals and families can adopt sustainable and harmonious living practices.

Along with the student performers, four teachers and a supporting staff from the Vidyalaya also participated in the event. Their presence was crucial in providing guidance, ensuring that the message was delivered accurately, and supporting the students during the performance. The teachers acted as facilitators, answering questions from the public and offering additional information about the "Amrut Parivaar" concept.

The local public responded enthusiastically to the event. Many individuals stopped to watch the Nukkad Natak, and several engaged in conversations with the students and teachers afterward. They expressed genuine interest in understanding the real meaning and importance of "Amrut Parivaar" and showed curiosity about how they could incorporate the principles of this initiative into their own lives.

The initiative succeeded in not only educating the public but also sparking a broader conversation about community welfare, environmental sustainability, and the collective role of families in shaping a better future. The enthusiasm of the local residents indicated that such initiatives can have a lasting impact when they are communicated effectively and creatively.
