 Vidyarambham ceremony at VKZPV Port Mout 


On April 3, 2025 our school organised the Vidyarambham Ceremony for BALVATIKA- I students of the academic year 2025-26. Vidyarambham is a Hindu initiation ceremony that is performed before a child begins their formal education. This ritual is dedicated to the goddess of learning, Saraswati. The Ceremony commenced at 9:00 am with a warm welcome by Principal Smti. Sabita Devi. The Puja was performed with great devotion, invoking divine blessings for young ones. The child writes sacred mantras like "Om Hari Sri Ganapataye Namah" on rice grains, symbolizing the initial step in the learning process. Altogether 34 students, 68 parents and 8 teachers were present. The program concluded with the distribution of prasad.

 Book Fair at ITF Ground


On 2nd April 2025, a book fair was organised at ITF Ground for classes IV to XII. Book fairs are events where publishers and booksellers display and sell books, often serving as a platform for authors to connect with readers and promote literacy. They can be local, regional, or international, and play a significant role in the publishing industry and in fostering a love for reading. At first, students were divided into three sessions, level wise (primary, upper primary and senior secondary) and various activities like paper craft, slogan writing and puppet making were conducted. The students got new opportunities to enhance their literacy and language skills. They got an exposure to diverse books and learn about various subjects like history, science, fiction and literature etc. Altogether 51 students and 04 teachers attended this book fair and a special lunch was provided for all.

This book fair helped the students to develop a love for reading and establish a regular reading habit.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT CAMP 2024-25

A three day Personality Development Camp was organized at our Vidyalaya from 25th March 2025 to 27th March 2025 for classes VI and VII.

A Personality Development Camp is a program designed to enhance on individual’s confidence, communication skills, leadership abilities and emotional intelligence through various activities, workshop and exercise.

The programme began  with lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest Swami Suddhananda Saraswati Ji (Acharya Chinmaya Mission) followed by Ekya Mantra. The Principal, Smti. Sabita Devi delivered a welcome speech followed by the Shibir Geet. In the First session Suddhananda Ji spoke about the characteristics of ideal children which is essential for achieving success. In the next session Shri. Y. Ramakrishna, Principal Scientist and Head Agronomy, interacted among students with informative knowledge regarding the “Role of Agriculture”. Next, students gad Yoga and Art sessions to improve their overall skills and provide calmness and creativity to their mind.

The Second day began with Shibir Geet (Chale Niranthar) followed by a brief talk on health and hygiene by Dr. Smita and Dr. Shalini from PHC Chouldari. The next session was about Road Safety, Traffic Rules and Cyber Safety by Smti. Egnus, Sub-Inspector Ograbraj. They shared valuable insights about maintaining personal hygiene and ensuring one’s safety through traffic rules and Cyber security. In the Manthan Satra the teachers shared inspirational stories to make positive changes in student’s  lives such as adopting healthy habits and pursing new oppourtunities.

The third day started with report writing competition in which students actively participated followed by Fire Safety session by Shri. T.Sunil Kumar, Sub-Inspector Fire Brigade Ferrargunj. He briefed about preventing fires and safe evacuation practices. At  the end of each day Sanskar and Kendra Vargah were conducted, where students learned Agya Abhiyaas, yoga asana and games which was beneficial in improving students physical, mental, Intellectual and moral development.

The Camp concluded with a valedictory function, where Smti. Pramila Kumari, Zilla Parishad Member, Chouldari Constituency, Shared informative words, inspiring the students to apply the knowledge gained. Altogether 80 students attented the Shibir and a proper healthy and delicious meal was served. The three day camp was a resounding success, with students gaining valuable insights and learning essential life skills.
