Report on Annual day

On 12^th January  2025, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated in our Vidyalaya. Swami Vivekananda Jayanti is a day of reflection on the values that can propel youth towards greatness, it reminds us of each individual's potential to contribute positively to society and uphold the ideals of one of India’s greatest Spiritual Leaders.

On this special day Smti. M. Rajani Adhyaksha , Zilla Parishad, South Andaman was the chief guest and Smti. Pramila Kumari Zilla Parishad member, Chouldari Constituency , South Andaman was the Guest of Honour. The program began with lighting the lamp by the  Chief Guest followed by Ekya mantra. At first, The Principal Smti. Sabita Devi addressed the gathering and also presented the Annual report. A speech was delivered by one of our teachers Miss. Manabi Roy highlighting the importance of this day, followed by Swadesh Mantra by Pragati Chakraborthy of class VI. Students from various classes participated in the programs such as devotional dance, patriotic dance, song, mime and skit showcasing their talents. The chief Guest and the Guest of honour motivated the students by their inspirational words. In connection with Swami ji Jayanti, various competitions were held and prizes were given to the winners by the Chief Guest and Guest of honour.

Altogether 682 students and 32 teachers were present. The whole program was anchored by Nitin Mondal and Payal Kirtania of class X . At last, one of our teachers Smti.  Report on visit of Mananeeya Bhanudasji

On 31^st December 2024, Mananeeya Bhanudasji, All India General Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra KanyaKumari. He has joined as Jeevanvrati in 1985 and Chartered Accountant by qualification, worked in Arunachal Pradesh from 1986-1995 as a Joint Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra Shikshar Prasar Vibhag

And All India Treasurer from 1995-2010

And all India General Secretary since 2001

He is well-read with authentic study of Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

Susri Varsha Bujone, Secretary VKVs  Andamans, and Shri  Venu Gopal,  Education Officer VKVs Andaman And Nicobar Islands, visited our Vidyalaya at around 8:30 am. All were welcomed traditionally by the students of Pre-KG.

The Program began with Shanti path. There was an interacting session with the students of class IX and XI in which he has given stress on the purpose of life as well as asked to follow the path of Swami Vivekananda and guided the students to be thankful to everyone. All the students were inspired and participated enthusiastically and cleared their doubts too.

After this session individual interaction with the teachers was held at around 11:00 am, followed by group discussion  with the teachers .

The program ended with Shanti Mantra.

Community lunch was also arranged for all.
